Waterloo campus Library renovations nearing completion

It was a busy summer of renovations at the Library’s Waterloo campus location in particular. This work is now largely completed, with the final stages of some projects scheduled to wrap up in September.

In conjunction with the ASPIRE Program, the Laurier Library is offering a series of workshops to help you and your graduate students streamline your research process. These informal, practical sessions cover a range of topics, including the following:

  • Citing Insights: Tools to Help you Cite
  • Finding Government Policy & Its Analysis
  • Systematic Reviews 101

Sessions are offered at the Waterloo Campus Library and online via webcast.

Library summer renovations update

Renovations continue. The installation of energy efficient lighting throughout the Waterloo campus Library will lead to lighting disruptions in localized areas as new lights are installed.

Attention faculty: use ARES to submit your course readings

Ares Course Reserves allows faculty to place materials on reserve for a course, both in print or electronic form. Students enrolled in the course have access to electronic content 24/7. Course readings are integrated into MyLearning Space.

Submit early and material will be available for students for the beginning of classes. If we need to order the material recall it from a patron, it could take 2 weeks or more.
